[Verse 1]
She carried the whole table before she took her seat,
Shaped herself around the room so every edge was neat,
Five bodies crowding the highest point she'd ever known,
A woman built for public life who ran the show alone,
The words came quick and doubled back to check on what she'd said,
That restless, searching mind that never settled into bed,

[PreChorus]
But the harvest doesn't ask permission from the field,
It only asks how much you're finally willing to yield,

[Chorus]
Sue, you were forged in that furnace, not broken by the flame,
Every role you carried quietly still echoes with your name,
The equinox is turning, what you planted now comes due,
Sue, the whole abundance of this season belongs to you,

[Verse 2]
She measured out her worth in what her hands could build and give,
Revised the draft three times before she let herself just live,
The careful way she chose her words, each sentence weighed and turned,
The way she bit her tongue on truths she knew she'd fully earned,
Behind the polished surface ran a current strange and bright,
A streak of pure disruption she kept hidden in plain sight,

[PreChorus]
But the harvest doesn't wait for you to feel deserving first,
The vine splits the trellis open at the point of greatest thirst,

[Chorus]
Sue, you were never only what the audience could see,
You were the architect backstage, designing who to be,
The equinox is level now, the ledger finally clear,
Sue, the whole abundance of this season starts right here,

[Verse 3]
She gave devotion like a deed, not like a passing mood,
Remembered every birthday, kept the table set with food,
The ones she loved she loved with both her quick mind and her bone,
But the gift she kept on asking for she'd never claimed as own,
To trust the thing inside herself that didn't need to ask,
To set the dinner down for once and step out from behind the task,

[PreChorus]
But the harvest doesn't honor half a field that's left to wait,
Every row she ever tended calls her through the gate,

[Chorus]
Sue, the work you hid in silence is the work that built the ground,
Every careful word you measured is a bell that's ringing sound,
The equinox holds nothing back, it gives the day its due,
Sue, the whole abundance of this season reaches you,

[Verse 4]
The turning she’s been standing at has colors she knows well,
The gold that follows letting go, the stories she can tell,
She spent decades being useful at the edges of the day,
Now the calendar is asking her to put the roles away,
Someone’s steady hand, someone’s answer when they call,
And just for once to take the step that sets her at the hall,

[PreChorus]
The harvest isn't coming — it has already begun,
She is standing in the middle of the work that she has done,

[Chorus]
Sue, the deepest thing you've tended is the person that you are,
Not the role you wore to get there but the light behind the scar,
The equinox says equal — what you give, you're owed in kind,
Sue, the whole abundance of this season — yours to find,

[Bridge]
She doesn't need a verdict, doesn't need a hand to say
That what she built was real and solid, worth more than the day,
The quick mind and the tender heart are both her truest name,
She walks into the equal light and she will not be tamed,

[Outro]
Sue, the season meets you here, right where you stand,
With everything you've grown by your own hand,
